About us
The Spatial Archaeology Laboratory (SAL) at the Institute of Archaeology, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem (Israel), is a scholarly hub devoted to the study of cultural landscapes and regional settlement systems. The SAL combines high-resolution surveys, documentation and mapping of archaeological sites and landscapes with powerful computational tools for spatial analysis in a GIS environment. It also enhances the educational program dedicated to the study of spatial, regional and landscape archaeology at HUJI and the implementation of new methodologies for both undergraduate and research students.
